Enrolments

Bluewater State School is now under an Enrolment Management Plan.

Bluewater State School's local catchment area is the geographical area from which the school is to have its core intake of students. A catchment map defines the catchment area for Bluewater State School.

A School Enrolment Management Plan (School EMP) is introduced in a state school which is nearing its Student Enrolment Capacity. In order to ensure sufficient facilities are available for in-catchment students, Principals of these schools are required to restrict the enrolments from out-of-catchment students.

This school operates under an equidistant catchment area. The school's catchment map is available to be viewed online.

All students enrolling must undertake an enrolment interview with one of our leadership team members.  This enrolment interview provides parents and students with an opportunity to ask questions about the school.

To determine when your child can commence their prep year, use the prep ready reckoner calculator.

To enrol at Bluewater State School, please complete the following steps:

  1. Download and complete the enrolment form (PDF, 860KB).
  2. Contact the school to make an appointment for an enrolment interview.
  3. Bring the following documents to the enrolment interview.
  • Two forms of identification that shows your primary place of residence is in our catchment area. One of these forms MUST be a current rates notice in your name for the enrolled address or, if renting, a current lease agreement in your name.  The second piece of evidence can be a utilities bill, driver’s licence or other 'business' letter indicating your name and address within the catchment area.
  • Your child’s original birth certificate (to be sighted and copied).

If you have any further queries regarding our enrolment process, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly office staff on (07) 4751 2333.
