Bluewater State School has two iconic buildings situated within its grounds.

The first school building was built over 50 years ago and is now the administration building and the ‘old principal’s house’ which currently houses the tuckshop. The two buildings are recognised as rare and unique and are being added to the Heritage List in 2017. Beyond the buildings Bluewater State School has 16 dedicated classrooms.

In 2010 the resource building was built under the 'Building Education Revolution' scheme. We have made the resource centre an inviting environment for a place of learning. The resource centre is open both breaks for students to build, play on the Wii, computer access, colour in and read books. The library is well used and a great addition to our school.
